Harry the Ex-Pat Dog Starts Online Reading Glasses Business
My human has asked me to blog about men's reading glasses but as she's not around at the moment I have other far more interesting things to write about. A lot of my doggy mates back in London were far from positive about me going off to Turkey to live. 'They have street dogs there' and 'the Turks don't like dogs' was the drift of most of their comments. So, I have to say that when I came over I certainly wasn't looking at living here through rose tinted spectacles. (Hey! How's that, human? Roughly half our sales comprise men's reading glasses and it is clear that there is a lot of online demand for men's specs online with relatively little supply to meet it in comparison to women's glasses. Snazzy Specs Reading Glasses are NOT Dog Proof!
Hello. My name is Harry and I'm Stollie, or is it a Coffie? What I mean is that my mother was a Border Collie and my father was a Staffordshire Bull Terrier – or was it the other way round? No matter, I'm certainly a cross breed. Which reminds me of a story of when I was on holiday in Ireland once. My owner and I went out to a traditional Irish pub one evening and as we walked in the owner enquired: “Is it a cross dog?” To which my owner fascinated by the publican's interest in dog breeds, replied: “Yes, he's a cross between a Staffie and a … oh! That wasn't what you meant was it?” Needless to say we didn't hang around – my owner might need reading glasses to see clearly but I can sniff a less than warm welcome a country mile away.
